We understand that making decisions about rent-to-own items like computers, furniture, appliances, electronics and smartphones is a big deal. That’s why our No-Hassle Guarantee allows you to get it now and own your item when you're ready, while remaining in control of your budget.

Three No-Hassle Ways to Own

At My Family Home Furnishings, you control how much you save and when you reach ownership on your favorite brands like Ashley Furniture, Samsung, Whirlpool, and Dell. You choose the ownership option that best fits your budget.

  • 6 Months Same As Cash.** You have 6 months to pay the cash price. Our same-as-cash option is the fastest path to ownership and your biggest savings. In CA, HI, NY, & WV, the same-as-cash period varies from 4 months to 6 months, depending on the item.
  • Early Purchase Discount.** Even after the same-as-cash period, own it early and save on the remaining total. The savings amount varies by state, but most My Family Home Furnishings locations offer a 50 percent savings on the remaining total. (Ask an associate or check your agreement to confirm your state's Early Purchase Discount.)
  • Low, Fixed Payment Option. If smaller payments are the best option for your budget, just make your regular rental payments and you'll own your item at the end of your agreement. You'll get closer to ownership with each payment!

On your path to ownership, you're covered with Payment Protection. You can pause payments with no penalties. Return your product, and you won't lose the money that you've paid. When you're ready, get the product back (or comparable item) and pick up where you left off.**

Competitor Price Match offer valid on new agreements only. Price match may adjust the weekly rate, term and/or total price to match our rent/lease to own competitor's advertised prices. The item must be the identical item, size, model number, quality and condition. The entire printed ad, online price or digital version of the ad must be presented for proof of competitor's price. The price of the item must be listed and valid at the time of price match. We reserve the right to verify a competitor's advertised price and the availability of the item. Offer valid on in-stock items only. For model upgrades, simply return the product you are currently renting and open a new agreement for another model. You can return your product and pause your payments. To restart an agreement on a returned product, we will retain your payment records for two years.
